(#1)-There is no bid item for mobilization. Please refer to section 99-1 General Requirements, Part 1 -General, 1.7 Schedule of Values, item F which indicates to distribute overhead and profit proportionally across all line cost items.

Inquiry #2: Hello,

In regards to the 10/9/2018 Abbendum to the drawings,

I went through the link that was provided and just wanted to confirm that the Electrical Control Enclosures have not been changed?

It looks like the Addendum covered other items throughout the job package. We are bidding on the Electrical Control Panels/Enclosures that contain the XiO controllers. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Inquiry #4: Is it possible to access inside the Comfort Station utility room for study. The same request would be asked of the Electrical Room at the north end of the tunnel. Are there any photos that could be shared?

Inquiry #5: In order to pull new wire through the existing conduit in the tunnel ; access to the area in the plenum chamber would seem necessary. What is the extent of pull boxes throughout this area? Is the drawing on sheet EE-10 a true depiction of the conduit location in the plenum soffit area? Is it a confined space? What is the air quality and is it a concern? Will this work affect traffic in the tunnel?

Please refer to as-builts which are available per Special Provisions section 2-1.06B. Plan sheet EE-10 shows a true depiction of the conduit location. The plenum is a confined spaced as defined by Cal/OSHA. Please refer to Standard Specifications section 7-1.02K(6)(c) Tunnel Safety and section 7-1.02K(6)(d) Confined Space Safety for work in the tunnel and plenum.
