Inquiry #2: On sheet 514 of 522, under Informational Quantities, it states that the reinforcement be epoxy coated. Is this Green (A775), or Purple (A934).

Reference is directed to section 52-2.03A(1) of the special provisions, "Epoxy coat all reinforcement, except the reinforcement inside the CISS piling and median abutment backwalls, at the following locations: 1. Bridge No. 04-0313L 2. Bridge No. 04-0024R 3. Bridge No. 04-0023R". Section 52-2.03A(1) specifies epoxy-coated prefabricated reinforcement (purple, ASTM A934).

Inquiry #4: According to the ADL Site investigation Report and Section 14-11.08, preparation of the sub-grade for the detour embankment will encounter the same ADL-Type Z-2 soil designated in the Structure Excavation Item #38. How will the disposal of the Z-2 soil found outside of the structure excavation paylines be paid?

Inquiry #5: In bid inquiry #2, you have stated that the rebar be purple (A934). Purple rebar is not intended to be bent or rebent. On sheet 68 of 71, note 2 it states the stirrups may be bent in the field to match the cross slope. Can we use green epoxy (A775) for these stirrups?

Inquiry #6: Addendum # 1 addressed Plant establishment period. " The Bidder must submit its bid with a minimum price for plant establishment work." See section 2-1.09 Which states : Submit a bid based on the item quantities shown on the bid item list. ITEM 45 PLANT ESTABLISHMENT WORK LS LUMP SUM has no quantities, such as DAYS. How many days / QUANTITIES is this period for? We can submit a bid once we have quantities to base the bid on! Key word for this Item is PERIOD/ time frame .

Inquiry #7: On Page 7 of 17 of the Project Drawings, it states "Minimum 3'-0"" Casing and shows Inside Diameter. However the indicator lines on the Drawing illustrate that it should be the Outside Diameter. Please confirm the required Steel Casing should be 36" Outside Diameter, or state what or provide the required Outside Diameter.

Inquiry #9: Sheet Q-1 refers to Sheet SCQ-1 for the 10 CY of Remove Base and Surfacing Item. SQC-1 doesn't include the Item, nor can we determine where the removal is to occur on any of the Stage Construction drawings. Can you please clarify where the Remove Base and Surfacing Item occurs?

Inquiry #10: On Jacoby Creek Bridge (Left)(Replace), we are unable to determine how the 4" future conduit is to be connected to the installed conduit beneath the approach slabs and back wall once the superstructure has been slid into its final position.
