Inquiry #6: Note #1 on plan sheet E-1 states to remove pedestrian signal fitting and to install pedestrian signal fitting. Please advise what is meant by pedestrian signal fitting. The first page this note shows up on is E-9 and there is not any new work shown on E-8.

The same applies to note #4 but it is labeled as Traffic signal fitting.

Inquiry #7: Some of the listed systems in the adjust inlet table on sheet DD-1 does not match the drainage quantity listings, same for the modify drainage facility (step retrofit) drainage systems shown on page DD-4, does not line up accurately with the drainage quantity listings. Please advise.

Inquiry #8: All 8456 lb of Misc Metal in Bid Item 0080 (F) are accounted for by the grate weights on sheets DQ-1 through DQ-9. All grates have the same designation- GO DI, 24-12X. The description matches Standard Plan D77B and the listed pay weight of 239 lb per grate for all grates on sheets DQ-1 through DQ-6. The weight changes to 339 lb ea on DQ-7 and 374 lb ea on DQ-8 with no change in description nor additional information on the plans.
How is the additional weight accounted for?

Inquiry #10: Plan sheet Q-9 calls for a Tack Coat totaling 25 tons. The tonnage amounts line up with all of the micro-surfacing stations. Is there a tack coat being required prior to the micro-surfacing? If so, why is this being required as the micro-surfacing does not appear that it will be placed over any PCC?

Inquiry #11: In regards to the previous inquiry #9. 37-3.01B states the standard gradations of the aggregate. Listing Types 1, 2, and 3. However those are the standards. Bidders need to know which material type Caltrans is specifying/requiring. Type 1, 2, or 3?
