Please refer to Section 5-1.02 Contract Components, point 3 Detail drawing governs over a general drawing. The correct dimension for the stiffeners at the HP12 beams is x 4, as shown in Section A-A on Sheet No. 115 of 120.

Inquiry #5: Ref. Special Provision Section 48-6.02B(3) Structural Steel; As this is a temporary bridge, does Standard Specification Section 6-3.05B Source Inspection Expense Deductions apply to this project?

Yes. Source inspection is required for Structural Steel components of the temporary bridge.

Inquiry #6: The D1 line leaves the M1 line as it ramps down to the temporary bridge. A portion of the existing M1 line is removed for the detour excavation item. There does not appear to be a quantity on Q1 or SCQ1 to account for the embankment necessary to reconstruct the portion of the M1 line removed by the detour excavation.

1. Please provide this embankment quantity.
2. Please specify what item should include this cost.
