Inquiry #4: Re: Wet Night striping item #84. First there is not spec's for wet night stating the 90 mil or 100 mil thickness , beads etc. But the main problem is all wet night in the state have always had separate line items for 6" solid , 6" broken, 8". Not lumped together like paint or sprayable because payment through measurement will become impossible later and break all the rules of the standard plans and spec's. Please try to fix this problem.

Inquiry #6: Can Plastic Pipe be used for the 8" underdrain outlets and risers? Or, will Perforated Plastic Pipe actually be allowed for the 8" Alternate Pipe Underdrain?
Standard Specification Section 68-2.02A, say "For alternative pipe underdrain, do not mix types of pipe in the same installation."
In addition, Standard Specification Section 68-2.02E say "Underdrain outlets and risers must be fabricated from the same material as the underdrain pipe or from corrugated metal pipe."
Bid item 42, 8" Corrugated Steel Pipe, is the bid item and quantity for payment of the underdrain risers and outlets.
Plan Sheet 65 list Perforated Plastic Pipe as an allowable material for underdrains. However, Bid Item 42 only allows for one type of material forcing the use of Perforated Steel Pipe for the underdrains.

Inquiry #7: The plans appear to not have variable depth cold planing and paving where it occurs. Without this, it can only be expected to return the same smoothness of the existing road. Please consider allowing variable cold planing and paving in order to maximize improvements.

Inquiry #10: The F Dike on this project, is it going to be 4" or 6"? According to C-9 there is a 6" or 4" type F dike. Important to know for GR so contractors know what size block they need, a 6x8 or 6x12.

Per Section 37-2.05A of the Revised Standard Specifications, a flush coat is not required for the Stress Absorbing Membrane Interlayer. The Sand Cover (Seal) bid item is associated with the Full Depth Reclamation, see Full Depth Reclamation quantity table on plan sheet Q-1 (77 of 139).
Per Section 37-2.05A of the Revised Standard Specifications, ?Traffic must not be allowed on a SAMI?.

(#13)-For item 39, refer to APC table on project plan sheet 65. HDPE is not one of the alternatives allowed for Alternative Pipe Culvert.
For item 40, refer to Section 64-2.02 of the Standard Specifications regarding HDPE used as Plastic Pipe.
