Response #2:
(BI#1)-"Attention is directed to the transition anchor block shown on sheet 30 of 55 of the plans and Standard Plan A77U3."

However, the slope on the top was not taken into account so the quantities should be 2.0 cy each instead of 2.4 cy. Since this is a final pay item we will do an addendum to adjust the quantity from 21.7 to 19.7 on the plans.

Inquiry #3: In response to Inquiry #2 we still need more information.

Utility Owners in Cal Trans Right A Way have their own maps as they own their utilities. The Owners are responsible for their lines, that is why Contractors call in USA's. Cal Trans should be able to get this material from the utilities that have easements. Contractors can not be stock with the liabilities if we are mapping and providing information that may or may not match up with the Utility Owner to Cal Trans. Who is responsible down the road if the information we provide doesn't match the Utility Owners and someone hits the line in the future?
