Inquiry #1: The drainage systems no. 11 - 14 between PM 6.03 and 6.65 are designated to be lined with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), but no profile drawings have been provided for this work. Please provide the profile drawings for the CIPP lining work at these locations. Profile drawings are needed to show the vertical configuration of the pipe, including its slope and whether it experiences any grade breaks in its alignment. Profile drawings are also needed to be able to establish the ground cover over the culverts required for the CIPP thickness calculations that must be performed and submitted per specification section 71-3.08A(3).8. If profile drawings cannot be provided, then the following information needs to be supplied for each culvert being lined in lieu of those drawings: 1) pipe invert elevation at upstream end of each pipe being lined, 2) identification and classification of any midline drainage structure on each pipe being lined as well as the pipe invert elevation at each midline drainage structure, 3) pipe invert elevation at the downstream end of each pipe being lined, 4) location and pipe invert elevation of any grade breaks in the alignment of each pipe being lined, and 5) soil cover over the top of each pipe to be used in CIPP thickness calculation submittals.
