Submit new inquiry for this project

Inquiry #1: 1.) A large amount of trees on this project are listed for full removal and haul to a biomass facility. However, the majority of these trees are located on steep banks and slopes that exceed 30% and cannot be accessed with equipment to fully suspend and or one end suspend, specifically the trees on route 49, between Camptonville and Nevada city. Will these be allowed to be felled and left/lop and scattered?

2.) When felling of designated trees will damage surrounding trees, what is the percent of damage allowed to the surrounding trees, before removal will be needed for the surrounding damaged trees?

3.) What would the process be for when our RPF finds “missed” hazard trees not previously identified by Cal Trans for removal? Will the RPF be allowed to add additional trees, and how will this change the work order?

4.) For the contractor supplied Biologist, will we be required to submit the Biologists information for review within 7 days of award with the case of the contractor archaeologist and Forester?
