Inquiry #2: Shown on sheet 160, 162 & 163 there is to to be installed centerline of the new barrier mounted pole and below the new concrete barrier 24" x 12' CIDH pile. Each is shown at 12' deep and described "Length for payment" 2' - CIDH concrete pile. Unlike the other projects that have recently bid there appears to be no pay item for the CIDH piles on this contract. Where are we to put the monies for this work ? In the barrier ? In the Electrical ?

Inquiry #7: Bid Item 89 quantities are short. Please see drawing SES-1, Plan sheet 159. I would draw your attention to Table A, column "Length for payment" the total pay quantity for bid item 89 should be revised to be 233'. If the department only includes whats in the ground and not the remainder of the foundation then there will be no pay item to complete the foundations as designed.

Inquiry #9: It appears that Item #67 with a pay qty of 380lf is incorrect. If you look at 229-231 you have the following qty's.

Willow Pass Road 158' - 6"
Concord Ave 153' - 8"
Center Ave 123'
Grand Total 435.166'

This would also reduce Item #66 to 2,400lf

Response #2:Item #67 Grand Total 435.166LF from the DES Sheets 229-231 And Item #66 would reduce to 2400LF.
