Inquiry #1: Please confirm that all water costs incurred during plant establishment and throughout the construction period will not be considered as part of this contract as included by bidding contractors and provided by the District. Also, please indicate proposed water sources for purposes of watering areas where CAM coupler connections are proposed.

Response #2:Water is available at existing water meter located at Old Redwood Highway (refer to sheet IP-3), and can be used to furnish water to irrigate cam coupler assemblies provided contractor furnishes water truck to fill and transport water to the cam coupler assemblies within the project limits. Contractor may obtain water for cam coupler assemblies from other sources.

Inquiry #2: Please confirm that the two (2) cam coupler assemblies shown on sheet LP-2 will be required for this contract; these are plumbed to a pressurized mainline system from point of connection 'A' at Old Redwood Highway.

Response #2:The cam couplers are required. Contractor may choose to irrigate from the cam couplers prior to completion of the plumbed meter connection, or fill from the cam couplers for use at truck watered areas.
