Inquiry #5: Would the State please check their quantities for Bid Item 7, Temporary Railing (Type K)? Listed quantities appear to be extreme.

Response #2:The quantity of the temporary railing (type K) includes/covers the lateral shifting of the K rail during the construction. The contractor will need to shift the temp K-rail when installing the steel casing around the bridge columns.
