Inquiry #2: My email to the Duty Senior keeps coming back. Is the email in the Notice to Bidders correct?

"A mandatory prebid meeting is scheduled on January 19, 2022 at 10:00 am at DUTY SENIOR, DISTRICT 4 OFFICE , 111 GRAND AVE, OAKLAND, CA 94612, TEL 510-286-5209, E-mail D4.Construction.Duty Senior@dot.ca.gov."

Inquiry #3: Ref. X-1: Please clarify if the 0.58' thickness of structural section #4 (Replace Asphalt Concrete Surfacing) includes the 0.25' thickness from structural section #3. Alternatively, does the structural section #4 extend 0.58' beneath the 0.25' section #3?

Response #2:The Department does not have existing pavement smoothness data. The pavement smoothness will be verified by using 12-foot straight edge as specified in Section 36-3 of Standard Specification. See Addendum #4.

Inquiry #6: Can a copy of those who attended the mandatory job walk be made available?

Response #1:There was no job walk. We had a mandatory virtual prebid meeting for prime bidders and small business subcontractors were invited.

Inquiry #7: EQ-1 states that Sheet E3 has 4 VDS 35 Poles. However, Sheet E3 shows no VDS 35 poles. Please advise if an Addendum will be issued addressing this.

Inquiry #8: You have type 17 and type 16 poles showing 30 and 35' Signal Mast arms. Per Caltrans standards they poles will not accept arms of these lengths. Please advise if the pole shafts are listed wrong or if the arms are listed wrong.
