Inquiry #2: Department issued "Addendum 1", states that "The revisions declared
in this addendum are an essential part of the contract."

Yet the only changes are to Special Provisions, NSSP 12-3.20, Temporary Barrier.

There is no Temporary Barrier on this project?

Is it the intent of the Department that all of the PPC Overlay is to be milled & filled in the allowable nightly closure times?

Response #2:Temporary Barrier System special provisions are required for all projects for traffic safety purpose. They are to be used as applicable and won't be paid for if they are not shown on the bid item list.

Inquiry #3: Will the contractor be allowed to Mill through the concrete headers at the JOINT SEAL (MR 1") locations, place PPC Overlay continuously thru the joint, and re-establish the joint by saw-cutting polyester Overlay and placing JOINT SEAL (MR 1") without replacing the concrete headers?
