Inquiry #3: Bid item list shows bid item #30 Temporary irrigation. However, all symbols shown on plan are belonged to bid item #31 through bid item #40. Please clarify which item include in bid item#30. Also, clarify the duration of temporary irrigation system.

Response #2:Bid Item #30 includes furnishing water to site for watering plants during the plant establishment period and removing temporary irrigation system no more than 10 days before contract acceptance in accordance with Section 20 of the Contract Special Provisions. Bid item #31 through bid Item #40 pay for the irrigation system materials and installation that make up the temporary irrigation system.

Response #2:There is no water source available within the project area for use by Contractor, as noted in section 20-2.14 of the special provisions. The Prime Contractor (or their designated Sub) must make arrangements to supply water for temporary irrigation system and to irrigate plants during plant establishment period.
