Inquiry #2: Plan Sheet L2 includes a note at "OLD1" 114+94.52 stating 'End Lt Lane Reconstruct', which appears to be between the departure slab and the cold plan AC pavement. This detail is not provided on the typical sections. Please clarify the limits and cross-section of this work.

Inquiry #3: Pier 2 and 3 have a permanent casing tip elevation of -7.6 and a construction joint elevation of -6.5. 2018 CT Stand. Spec. 49-3.02C(7)(2) states permanent casing must "extend at least 5 feet below the construction joint. If placing casing into rock or a dry hole, the casing must extend at least 2 feet below the construction joint. Please advise if standard specifications don't apply to this project or provide the revised casing tip elevation.

Inquiry #4: Project special provisions add to section 49-3.02A(1) states "permanent steel casing must extend above the cutoff elevation to allow for a minimum 10-foot head higher than the highest groundwater level for drilling and concrete pouring". LOTB show a max GWS elevation of 10.4. Does the agency intend to mandate a minimum top of casing elevation of 20.4 until concrete has been placed?

Inquiry #5: Bid Item #75 calls for 7,676 SF of Precast Girders. However, Bid Documents/Structural Drawing Sheet #2 of 24 calls for 5,573 SF of Girders. Are there additional girders required or has there been any change to girder quantity or sizing?

Inquiry #7: As this job is in close proximity to the water - is there a requirement that the reinforcing steel for the precast be epoxy coated? We cannot find this in the special provisions. If Coated - is it purple or green?
