Inquiry #2: Good afternoon, Please provide PV Panel clarification in regards to the following questions below. Thank you

86-1.02AD (3) states the PV panels have to be monocrystalline 100w – can we use polycrystalline PV panels 120w?

86-1.02AD (4) states batteries must be manufactured from lithium iron phosphate can we use valve regulated gelled-electrolyte batteries?

87-1.03AD – states we have to use MC4 connectors can we use hard wired panels using PV panel attached junction boxes?

87-1.03AD – states PV system shall be 12v, but PTZ camera data sheet shows 24v (Pelco model No. S6230-EGL1).

86-1.02AB (8) calls out a Thermostatically controlled fan what is the wattage draw and is it absolutely needed (reason being wattage draw).

Response #2:Per Section 86-1.02AB(2) Camera, of the Special Provisions. Provide a camera that is compatible with the existing highway camera used in the district Pelco Model No. S6230-EGL1. The camera does not have to be the same model, components for a complete functional system must be submitted for approved prior to installation.

Response #2:Per section 86-101C(12) of the Special Provisions a list of equipment, materials, drawings and cut sheets for all proposed electrical components must be submitted for approval. The winning bidder is responsible for calculating total load of the System for approved material. Please place your bid in accordance with the current contract documents.
