Inquiry #2: I am still not finding any details or specifics about the modifications. RSP drawings referenced call for upper and lower tube rails. Spec page 91 section 83-2.08A(1) calls for 2 lower cables. It seems that the modification is to remove the lower tube and instead use two cables. I cannot find details for the cables or how they connect.

Inquiry #3: The CA High Design Manual Section 850-34 dated December 30th, 2015 warns against specifying plastic pipe in areas with a potential for fire. This project lists Alternative Pipe Culvert in the Bid Schedule. Will Caltrans still allow for plastic pipe to be used on this project?

Inquiry #10: Please confirm the end block for the PC/PS Wide Flange Girders are optional at all girder ends. The girders are quite heavy and requiring an end block will make the pick more difficult. If end blocks are required, please confirm width shown on Sheet 19 of 2' 6".

Inquiry #11: On sheet 232 of 244, the girder shows a bottom dimension of 3'-10 1/4". For a typical Wide Flange girder with a 6-1/2" stem, the bottom dimension should be 3'-9" per "Caltrans Bridge Design Aids", "Califorina Standard Pretentioned "Wide -Flange" Girder". The dimension shown is based on an 8" stem. Please advise.

Inquiry #12: The Pavement Structure chart on Plan Sheet Q-1 shows a column for Remove AC Pavement with a row showing 2,590.48 sf for a quantity from Stage Construction Sheet SCQ-1. Plan Sheet SCQ-1 does not have a column for Remove AC Pavement. Please provide an updated SCQ-1 sheet that includes quantities for Remove AC Pavement per stage.
