Inquiry #1: ITEM #87, CONCRETE BARRIER, TYPE 842A:
Plan sheet E-2, 42 of 82, indicates there are two (2) Type 15 Lighting Standards mounted on the Retaining Wall Barrier. I see no indication of Electrical poles on the Retaining Wall Plans R-1 through R-4.
Are there Electrolier Standards on the Concrete Barrier?

Inquiry #2: Is the excavation for the Class 2 AB considered Roadway Excavation?
Sheet 5 shows using the Type R-1 material for Structure Backfill. Is the intention to reuse the excavation material on the project (not generate hazardous material)? Will the material meet the Specification for Structure Backfill?
The dimensions for Class 2 AB limits on Sheet 5 do not match the dimensions on Sheet 25. Please clarify.

Response #2:Addendum 1 addressed the inclusion of roadway excavation that includes the excavation for the roadway gutter as depicted on Standard Plan A62A.

Addendum 2 removed “ditch” labels/descriptions and replaced those with “gutter” labels/descriptions on plans and project special provisions. It clarifies that the roadway section from the sawcut line 8' to 10' to the edge of shoulder is Roadway Excavation (Type COM). Type COM areas are described in the project special provisions page 29 section 14-11.08C.

Please bid per the current contract bid documents.
