Inquiry #2: Please confirm limits and quantity for BI 138 (F) - Concrete Barrier (Type 85). Drawing L-2 and L-3 show limits from 20+07.09 to 28+00.67. Subtracting the Type 85 Mod on the bridge of 177 FT, the total of Type 85 is 617 FT which is different than the bid item quantity.

Inquiry #3: On drawing R2-1, it shows both retaining walls having 4" WSP for drainage, but on drawing Q-2, it only shows 100 FT on Bike Path West. Please confirm quantity for Bike Path East and bid item 115 quantity .

Response #2:Sheet R1-1 calls out left and right retaining walls. A total of 100-LF of 4” WSP is needed at 3 locations along these retaining walls. The specific locations of 4” WSP are shown on sheets R1-2 (based on the RW-L alignment), and sheet R2-1 (based on the RW-R alignment). The cut sections of R1-2 and R2-1 display the same location but due to skew have different stationing.”

Inquiry #4: Sheet L-2 shows the Environmentally Sensitive Areas near the bridge work. When overlaid with the new bridge and bike path under the new bridge, the bike path will run straight through the ESA area south of SB101 Abutment 2. Please confirm this is the intent of the design.

Inquiry #6: Why is there a Stage 4? Stage 3 and Stage 5 K-Rail are in similar configurations. This will result in an underrun of Item 14. Please review and comment.
Please locate the upstation end of the Type 60M (Modified) Barrier.
