Response #1:Per section 12-4.04 TEMPORARY PEDESTRIAN ACCESS ROUTES of the Standard Specifications and according to the Standard Plans (specifically T30-T34) a work plan for a temporary pedestrian access route through each stage of the project will be required.

Inquiry #3: Portions of our staff availability has become impacted this week due to recent school closures and their need to assemble a backup plan. Will Caltrans consider pushing this bid off a few weeks to provide contractors more time in finalizing this larger bid with dependence on multiple subcontractor prices, who are also likely being effected by the recent pandemic.
