Inquiry #1: Plan sheets 121, 122, 123 & 124 reflect a Scale of 1" = 20' . The correct Scale is in fact 1" = 50' , Please correct the Scale and maybe review your EQ-1 sheet as it relates to this item of work. Thanks.

Inquiry #2: In reviewing the Temp Signal Plan sheets, 121,122,123, 124 as well as sheet EQ-1 I found the following;
Sheet 121, everything looks good, that's stage 1. When you go to sheet 122 stage 2 and compare the pole station locations to stage 1, every pole has been relocated. The same applies to stage 3 and stage 4. When you look at the EQ-1 sheet as it applies to the temp signal quantities it appears it's the departments intent for the contractor to reuse all the poles from stage 1 throughout all the stages, That will not work. If we reuse the poles for each stage of the temp signal then the entire temp signal would have to come down between each stage and then reinstalled at the following stage, thus not operational at the end of each shift to maintain traffic. Please advise.

Response #2:Refer to the LEGEND’s on sheets 121 to E-124 for relocated Temporary Wood Poles. Per Section 12-1 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC CONTROL of the RSS, the contractor is responsible to maintain traffic while the Temporary Signal System is relocated during stage construction.

Inquiry #3: Please review the Temp signal stage sheets. Example E-7, The plan sheet shows three locations that span wires are installed with span wire signal heads installed. One example, Note 3 is used at approx. station 440+00 to RR the pole on the S/E side. The plans do not call out to relocate the pole in line across the street. The poles not noted to be moved will require a CCO to relocate if the plans are not corrected. In addition the department has never corrected the wrong scales related to these plan sheets. Please advise.
