However note 2 on sheet 2 of 20 notes" Concrete barrier type 842. Concrete stain to be performed by District". What do we bid on item 53?

Inquiry #2: ITEM #63, MIDWEST GUARDRAIL SYSTEM:
Specials Section 83-2.02C(1)(a), requires item "1. steel line posts" and item "2. wood blocks for line posts".
Does the Engineer want only wood blocks, or are notched plastic blocks acceptable?

Inquiry #3: The structural drawings do not directly indicate that the existing columns/bents are to be demolished ... and yet it seems they would need to be. Please clarify.
