Inquiry #1: Irrigation Sprinkler Schedule ISS-1 calls for pop-up sprinkler (multiple stream bubbler) with 0.25 GPM discharge rate. However, we could not find the multiple stream bubbler with 0.25 GPM. There are multiple stream bubblers (Rain Bird 5 series) with 0.5 GPM or pressure compensating full circle bubblers with 0.25 GPM (Rain Bird 1401, trickle pattern). Please verify the GPM for multiple stream bubbler.

Inquiry #5: Regarding inquiry no.3 for this contract and subsequent Addendum #2, the response addressed the numeric distance as referred to the distance for limits of removals relative to the sprinkler being removed and not the location of the existing plant, as referred to in section #20-1.03C (3).

For bidding purposes confirm that the State's intent is that removals and mulch placement are to be 10' diameter from each existing plant location and not the sprinkler, due the fact that there may be conditions where one plant may have two sprinklers at each site.

Inquiry submitted 12/02/2019

Response #1:Addendum #2 provides specifications for weed control for maintain existing planted area. Please bid as specified.
As a separate bid item, please see Notes 1-3 on contract plan sheet #11 (PQ-1) for placement of wood mulch at plant basins.

Inquiry #6: Please identify how many total remote control valve stations each of the existing controllers provides. Irrigation quantity sheet IQ-2 and IQ-3 are limited to providing the number of anticipated modified control stations only. This information is required to bid the check and test and operate existing irrigation system correctly.
