Inquiry #1: There is no Item to remove irrigation facilities? Plan sheet ID-1 shows an air relief valve, flush valve, and pipe to be removed. Please advise as to if we are responsible with that portion of work.

Inquiry #2: Please confirm the department will pay all fees related to SCE and PG&E installation services required by this contract. Is there an estimated duration the bidders should anticipate in the overall schedule to complete? It is our experience these utility companies have very long lead times.

Response #1:The contractor should refer to section 87-1.03L(1) of the standard specifications and the project plans for work pertaining to service connections. The contractor should also refer to section 8 and page 1 of the Special Provisions for the contract duration.
