Inquiry #1: For the 0.25' cold plane and subsequent 0.25' HMA placement (excluding digouts), will the state consider allowing 7 days between cold plane and HMA placement? Or at least 3 or even 1 day? It is difficult to schedule the necessary subcontractors to grind and place HMA back in the same shift as required by the standard specifications. Additionally, it increases the total duration of working days/impact to the public and substantially increases construction costs.
