Response #1:The roadway excavation is correct. There is an existing dirt area at the gore to be excavated before rock blanket is placed there. Bid on item 21 as is.

Inquiry #3: Bid Item No. 21 Roadway Excavation has 2,040 CY of dirt. Can we spread this dirt on site or should we haul out to a off-site disposal area?

Response #1:Spread out if you have space within state right of way. If there is no space to spread out, the contractor is owner of such material.
