Inquiry #1: You list an item (#8) for Automated Workzone Information System and another item (#16) for a queue warning system. Will the AWIS be out there the entire time? And the queue warning system only for 55 days? Or are these actually the same item? If the AWIS is a separate item, what is the primary purpose for it (so we can design a system appropriate to the task)?
Inquiry submitted 09/29/2020

Response #1:AWIS and Queue Warning System are different and the messages on the PCMSs are not the same.
AWIS is using for reducing traffic before it comes to work zone.
Queue Warning System is to let drivers to be aware any incident conditions at the work zone.

AWIS will be used for the entire time for extended weekend closures.
Queue Warning System will be used for all works on the freeway when need it.
