Inquiry #1: 1. Bid item 64 slope paving. On the details shown on sheet 9 ( C-6) of the plans it shows bar reinforcing steel and WWM. There is no bid items for Bar reinforcing how will this be paid?

2. Can we use precast for all drainage inlets and manholes ?

Response #1:Section 72-11 ?Slope Paving? of the Standard Specifications instructs the contractor to ?Construct slope paving using minor concrete or shotcrete? and ?Reinforcement must comply with Section 52.? Therefore, payment for reinforcement is included in the bid price for the Slope Paving item.
