Inquiry #4: Can the State please provide a manufacturer for the stair nosing material specified on page 38 of the Special Provisions section 51-1.02J that has a 1" batter to match the stairway detail

Concrete stair nosing must:
1. Be abrasive cast aluminum from type 319 aluminum in natural metal finish
2. Have a nonskid finish and well-defined cross-hatching and fluting at least 1/16-inch deep
3. Be deep lip stair nosing with integral concrete anchors; holes and countersinks for screw-type
anchors are not acceptable
4. Have a minimum tread surface width of 3 inches
5. Have a minimum thickness of horizontal portion of nosing of 5/16 inches
6. Be a single continuous piece with no joints
Visual contrast strip on stair nosing must be:
1. Preformed thermoplastic reflective glass bead tape complying with section 84-2
2. Yellow that matches color no. 33538 of AMS-STD-595
3. Heat adhered to the surface of the stair nosing
4. The full width of the step as a single continuous piece

Inquiry #5: Section 83-2.08 Tubular Railings shows Paint for galvanized railing must comply with Section 59-3. Please clarify if Item # 64 - Pipe Handrailing need to be painted/powder coated or just galvanized finish. Thanks

Inquiry #6: Special Provisions section 10-6 says the sources and discharge of recycled water must comply with the water-recycling criteria of the CDPH, SWRCB Order No. WQ 2016-0068-DDW, and the requirements of the appropriate RWQCB. Is the water source for irrigation recycled water?

Inquiry #7: Special Provisions have 12-3.11B(5)(b) Construction Project Funding Identification Signs. However, Construction Area Signs CS-1 or Traffic handling Quantities THQ-1 does not have the construction project funding identification signs. Should the funding signs be installed?
