Inquiry #1: This bid has 4 Qty. x CMS (Changeable Message Signs).
Under Notice to Bidders & Special Provisions, Page-95 (Actual page-104), Item 87-12.02B / 11.5.4.2 (Changeable Message Signs), pixel pitch is 20mm. 20mm pixel pitch is for Model CMS 800. Item-12 also says Changeable Message Sign Type-1, which is CMS 800 model.
But, in the Project Plans for construction drawings, under Special Design Signs, on page-SDS-1, SDS-2, SDS-3 (actual page-92, 93, 94), it says CMS 700. CMS 700 has 2.75 inch pixel pitch, which is 69.85mm pixel pitch.
So, the specs and drawing does not match and is not consistent.
Isn't this bid for CMS 800 and not CMS 700? Could you please clarify?

Inquiry #2: Refer to plan sheet 135 as a typical example and situation for all applicable sheets. Per the construction notes, confirm that one existing 4" conduit contain only 2ea existing innerducts with cables and that same conduit is to be reused and replaced with new innerduct and cable as noted.

Inquiry #3: Are we to assume the communication will be rerouted during the rewiring of the entire cable replacement? Is there any details related to this that the bidder should be aware of or directed to?

Inquiry #5: Irrigation Plan Sheet IP-4 shows proposed controller wire crossing Route 91 & WB On Ramp. For installation purposes, is the contractor to utilize existing sleeves for crossing of the entire freeway? or Will Caltrans provide a line item for new sleeves?
