Inquiry #1: Plans call for Hydro demo and a polyester overlay for Harbor Scenic Drive under nightly lane closures. 24 hour closure will be necessary in order to complete the water jetting, drying the deck, patching unsound concrete and placing polyester concrete. Please update traffic chart to allow for 24 hour lane closures for Harbor Scenic Drive Bridge work.
Inquiry submitted 01/22/2019

Response #1:Bid per plans and specifications.

Inquiry #2: As a continuation to Inquiry #1, the project needs a 24 hour complete closure at the Harbor Scenic Drive OH Location. The traffic control charts that correspond with this location (G5 and G6) do not provide enough time, especially in the middle lane, to hydro blast, dry, demo and patch the unsound concrete, and place the polyester overlay. The charts that provide a complete closure for this location (H4 and H5) also do not allow near enough time for this entire operation to be completed. Please update the lane closure charts at this location so the scope of work at Harbor Scenic Drive OH can be completed.

Response #1:Bid per plans and specifications.

Inquiry #3: The plans and specification do not prohibit traffic from being on the hydro-demolished deck prior to polyester overlay. Please confirm this is the intent.
Inquiry submitted 01/23/2019

Response #1:Traffic can be placed on the deck following the hydro-demo and prior to the overlay.
