Inquiry #3: According to the Railroad Information Handout for this project, it calls for the Prime Contractor to obtain a Right of Entry Agreement (REA).
- What is the cost of this Right of Entry Agreement (REA)? If there is a cost, does the Prime Contractor pay for the REA and then the State reimburses the Prime Contractor for the costs of the REA?

- What are the Railroad Protective Liability Insurance (RRPLI) requirements for this project?

Response #1:Railroad Protective Liability Insurance is required by the railroad company on this project. This information is referenced in the supplemental handout under Sections A and B of No. 15 of the Right of Way Agreement contained in the supplemental handout. Contractor should consult the railroads form 6, which can be found on their website for specific insurance requirements.
