Inquiry #2: Based on CalTran's standard specifications and the project plans the (2) C47B signs are required to be mounted on Laminated Wood Box Posts (LWBP). 2015 CalTrans standard specifications section 82-3.02D states that these are a department furnished item. Will the contractor be responsible for picking the LWBP up or will they be delivered to the job site? If the contractor will be responsible for picking up the LWBP where is the location they will need to be picked up at? Furthermore will the contractor be required to return the LWBP upon removal?

Inquiry #3: Please clarify if the Midwest Guardrail System, End Treatments and Crash Cushions need to be stained too? If so, please provide pricing similar to the pricing for the high tension cable barrier specified on Section 78-4.07B. Thanks
