Inquiry #3: Please confirm that the installation of the micro-duct HAS TO BE done by use of a Micro-trencher with a not-to-exceed trench width of two and a half inches and not a rockwheel or earthsaw that would open the trench up to four to six inches.

Inquiry #5: Regarding spec section 87-19.03F(1), Is a test station required for the tracer wire at each of the 6(E)(E)(T) pull boxes that are listed in the tables on E-19 through E-22?

Also, can the tracer wire be incorporated into the multiduct?

- No the tracer wire cannot be incorporated into the multi duct.

Response #2:The 12-4.02C(3)(e) is a special provision specifications that we must provide in all Caltrans projects, however, if the work location is not in proximity within the events or venue listed in this specifications, then this specific specifications would not apply.
