Inquiry #2: Bid item 42(F) 560218 Furnish Sign Structure (Truss) - Please clarify if walkways are required on these 3 Cantilever Sign Structures or if walkways are not wanted? Details do not show walkways on these structures however the standards still call out to use walkways unless it is noted not to have them.

Please confirm both CRCP expansion joints/anchors and WF beams are not installed on this project. If they are to be installed, please specify where and how they will be paid.

Response #2:Please bid in accordance with Standard Specifications Sections 9-1.03, “Payment Scope” and 40-2, “CRCP”, Contract Plans, and, RSP P31B and P32A. As shown on RSP P31B, pavement anchors are only required when the pavement cross slope is 3% or higher.

Inquiry #7: The specifications bar vendors and subs from participating in the Time-Related Overhead bid item. They are required to allocate their overhead into the various bid items. What is the method of compensation for subcontractors and/or vendors affected by an Owner caused delay?
