Submit new inquiry for this projectInquiry #1: In regard to the thermoplastic striping items 21, 22, 24, 25, the Special Provisions call for Warranty materials to be used. This is not reflected in the bid item descriptions. Caltrans Has bid item descriptions for this; Traffic Stripe (WARRANTY). Is it Caltrans' intention to have these thermoplastic items covered by warranty? If so, why not label the item instead of just sticking the warranty section inside the Special Provisions. The TAPE items clearly state that they are a warranty item; shouldn't the thermoplastic items state the same intention, if that is the case?
Please make Caltrans' intentions clear.
