Granite Rock Company 'Graniterock' is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Carpenters and Cement Masons unions. 100% performance and payment bonds will be required from a qualified surety company for the full amount of the subcontract price. Bonding assistance is available. Graniterock will pay bond premium up to 1.5%. In addition to bonding assistance, subcontractors are encouraged to contact Graniterock Estimating with questions regarding obtaining lines of credit, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies, or with any questions you may have. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, DIR number, insurance and worker's compensation coverage. DBE Subcontractors must be listed by the CUCP for the work code(s) that apply to the scope of work they are quoting. Subcontractors will be required to enter into our standard contract. Graniterock will breakdown items of work to facilitate DBE participation. Graniterock intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project. Requirements: Papich Construction Co. Inc. (PCI) intends to bid as a Prime for this Caltrans contract. We intend to conduct ourselves in good faith and work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project. We are willing to break out items of work into economically feasible packages to facilitate DBE participation from certified firms. 100% performance and payment bonds will be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. We will reimburse for bond premium up to 2%. By submitting a price quote to PCI, Subcontractors and Suppliers affirm they have carefully examined ALL the bidding/contract documents/addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the scope of the work. We are signatory to Operating Engineers and Laborers Unions. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign a one time agreement for trades covered under our union agreements.
