Response #2:Per the K-2 charts of section 12-4.02C(3)(k) night work is permitted for the purpose of establishing stage construction only. All other work to be performed behind K-rail during the daytime (between 7am-7pm Mon-Sat). No night-work is permitted for any other work.

Inquiry #2: Sheet 4 of 11 is showing a work area of 33'-6" is there any possibility to extend this area by 6' to 39'-6"? the drill rigs required for this type of piles wont fit into a 33'-6" minus 4.5' for a total of 29ft from temporary barrier to centerline of secant piles.

Inquiry #3: Plan Page U-1 shows an exiting power pole to be removed by others. Are all the utilities on that pole to remain? If so how are they to be supported? Some of the utilities are 12 feet off the ground. Does Caltrans plan divert these overhead lines while the drilling takes place?

Response #2:Utilities will be relocated permanently, and no utilities will remain on that pole while drilling takes place.
