Inquiry #4: Per the Specifications, we need to coordinate a pre-construction meeting and trial slab for the JPCP RSC. Is this section still applicable taking into consideration that the total JPCP RSC quantity in this job totals 180CY and will be used for bus pads?

Inquiry #5: It appears that on plan sheets L-41 thru L-60 for the 24' mainline eastbound & westbound (NOTE 2 section). The SY quantity for the .35'cold plane and the tonnage for the .20'RHMA-G is omitted from Summary of Quantity Sheet Q-5 and bid items 53. Cold Plane Asphalt Concrete Pavement and bid item 45. RHMA-GG. Please revise.

Inquiry #6: It appears that on plan pages L-41 thru L-60 for the 24' mainline eastbound and westbound, NOTE 2 quantities (per page X-2) for .35'Cold Plane AC pavement and .20'RHMA were omitted from both the Summary of Quantities page Q-5 and bid items 53. Cold Plane AC Pavement and bid item 45. RHMA-GG. Please review and adjust the quantities to reflect the correct SY for cold plane and Tonnage for RHMA.

Response #1:Please refer to Construction Details on sheet C-25 for RSP details and to Quantity Sheet C-5 under the "Overside Drain/Down Drain Quantities Table" for RSP quantities. Additionally, note that the RSP locations will be determined by the engineer in the field, as stated in the notes on sheet C-25.

Inquiry #12: This project calls for weekly biological compliance monitoring. However, Special Provisions Section 14-6.03A item 3 states: "The qualified Contractor-supplied biologist and project personnel must carefully check under parked vehicles and equipment for desert tortoises before any of the vehicles or equipment can be moved. "
