Services needed: Papich Construction Company, Inc. (Papich) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors, suppliers, and trucking DBE/DBVE/SB firms for ALL bid items of work related to this construction contract.
Requirements: At the time of the bid, all subcontractors must possess a valid and relevant California Contractors License, a valid DIR registration number, meet the project’s minimum insurance requirements, and be 100% bondable. All subcontractor, supplier, and trucking proposals must be in strict accordance with the project plans, specifications, and any addenda issued. In addition, all Supplier and Subcontractors will be required to execute Papich’s standard subcontract or purchase order agreement (available upon request). Waiver of Subrogation will be required. Papich is a signatory contractor and will require a one-time job agreement for any non-union Subcontractors. Submission of a proposal shall constitute subcontractor, supplier, or trucker acceptance of all terms as listed above. Any attempted deviation or revision to said terms shall not be recognized by Papich. Papich can offer DBE/DVBE/SB firms assistance with bidding this contract including but not limited to: reducing items of work into smaller scopes, providing reimbursement for payment/performance bond premiums, and providing assistance obtaining materials. All requests for assistance must be made prior to the project bid date. Additionally, DBE/DVBE/SB firms must possess a valid and current certification to be considered for this contract. Requirements: Bugler Construction is actively seeking subcontractors and suppliers on this project. Subcontractors must possess a valid California Contractors License and have current registration with the State Department of Industrial Relations. Subcontractors must be able to provide current general commercial liability insurance, workers compensation insurance and be prepared to provide payment and performance bonds. Bugler will pay the cost of bonds up to 2.0% of total subcontract for bonds issued by a California admitted surety that is acceptable to Bugler Construction. Bugler will assist in obtaining insurance, bonds, lines of credit, supplies, materials and equipment. Plans and Specification can be viewed by appointment at our Pleasanton Office, sent electronically upon request, or viewed on the Caltrans Website. Bugler Construction is signatory to the operators, laborers, cement mason and carpenters unions and subcontractors will need to be signatory or sign a project labor agreement with appropriate unions.

Requirements: SEC adheres to the requirement for Affirmative Action to ensure Equal Employment Opportunity according to Executive Order 11246, and requires proof from all subcontractors that they are in accordance. 100% Performance and Payment Bonds with a surety company thereof, subject to the approval of SEC, will be required of all subcontractors. SEC will pay bond premium up to 1.5%. Please contact SEC for assistance with bonding, insurance, or lines of credit. All subcontractors are expected to sign a standard contract, which can be viewed at our location. Any bid provided by a Subcontractor constitutes an acceptance on each and every term of the general contractor’s standard contract. Subcontractor will be deemed to understand and accept those terms by providing a bid. Any attempt by a Subcontractor to revise or limit those terms will be null and void and not recognized by SEC. Prevailing wages must be met. Subcontractor must possess current insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting SEC’s insurance requirements. Insurance waiver of subrogation is also required. SEC is a Union Contractor. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.

Subcontractors must possess a valid California Contractors License and have current registration with the State Department of Industrial Relations. Subcontractors must be able to provide current general commercial liability insurance, workers compensation insurance and be prepared to provide payment and performance bonds. Ranger Pipelines can assist in obtaining insurance, bonds, lines of credit, supplies, materials and equipment. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, DIR number, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage. Bonding assistance is available. Graniterock will pay bond premium up to 1.5%. In addition to bonding assistance, subcontractors are encouraged to contact Graniterock Estimating with questions regarding obtaining lines of credit, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies, or with any questions you may have.
