Response #2:(BI#2)-Refer to Standard Specification 5-1.09, Partnering. Professionally facilitated partnering is only required when the project has 100 or more working days and a total bid over $10 million. Facilitated partnering is therefore not required on this project.

Inquiry #3: Sec 8 prosecution and progress. There is no delayed start date for this project. Normally these type of projects have a start no later than date. This project is a thin layer sealing project that requires the warmest weather of the season,especially on route 254 under the redwood canopy.

Inquiry #4: Item No. 0006 - Temporary Traffic Stripe (Paint). Will this item be paid for for each layer placed, the quantity only reflects 1 application of paint, when 2 will be needed? If only paid for once, which surface course is the temporary paint to be place on (chip seal or microsurfacing)?
