Inquiry #5: Sheet E-1: There are two conduits, a 3" and a 4". The 4" goes from power drop pole to vicinity of PG&E transformer. The conduit is empty and shows no pull boxes. Where to terminate the conduit is unclear. 3" future empty conduit for USFS shed terminates at transformer. What should traffic pull boxes say? Ex. Caltrans service, Forest Service shed, etc.

Inquiry #6: Per Special Provisions Page 30, 31, Section 87-13.02F: Non-invasive sensors:

The spec is written around Vaisala, Inc. product with one exception. Vaisala's product shall be 35 ft. from roadway to be measured for optimal performance. The State has increased these perimeters to 45 ft. without any degradation. Does the State have some agreement with the supplier?

2. In the areas outside of the Marten habitat section between poles No. 15 and No. 21, is all brush, grass, slash and limbs or logs
under 4 inches in diameter to be chipped and mixed with the underlying earth or can it be removed from project site?

Inquiry #10: In the Information Handout it is asking for a MTDC Portable Vehicle Washer to be used to help eliminate the spread of noxious weeds. The documents say to contact Andy Trent at MTDC. He told us that these units have not been used in about 15 years and are not available anywhere as far as he knows. Can you specify an alternative to this system to wash the equipment with please?

Inquiry #11: In the Information Handout it is required to use a MTDC Portable Vehicle Washer. It says to contact Andy Trent with MTDC for information about these portable washers. Mr. Trent said that these washers have not been used in about 15 years and he doesn't know where to get one at all. Can you specify another wash system or washing method that would be ok to use please since these are not available.

Inquiry #12: With the power and internet outages we are currently experiencing in the north state this week, can the bid opening be extended to next week or some time that these issues have been resolved to ensure everyone is able to receive material and sub quotes and submit their bids on Wednesday?
