Inquiry #5: If I'm reading the road closure chart correctly? During the staged bridge removal, the contractor can only close Crag View for 2 nights during each stage? And during those closures, the roadway has to reopen to let traffic thru with a pilot car thru every hour before midnight and every 2 hrs. after midnight? We are required to protect the roadway, 1" trench plates or 2' of dirt cover. If we we're to try to crane pick the entire bridge in pieces, we would still have the bents to remove with excavators and breakers.
If that's the requirement? I'm not sure it's possible to maintain the traffic per plan and do the bridge removal?
