Inquiry #5: In the information handout, design considerations for the sand bedding state that the sand bedding can be screened material, from the excavated material, not greater than 3 inches and placed in a minimum 2' lift and limited compaction. However, in the revised spec in the Special provisions for table 19-3.02F(2) Sand Bedding, there is a new table with gradation criteria and following in the standard specs, the sand bedding is required to be in 0.67 foot thick lifts with 90% compaction. Which criteria should be followed in bidding the sand bedding (gradation size, lift thickness, and compaction required)?

Inquiry #7: Please clarify the following:

1.) What type of Rolled Erosion Control Product (Netting) and staples are required?
2.) On sheet ECL-1, the Erosion Control table includes a second application of the seed mix in step 2. Is it the intent to apply the entire seed mix twice (Step 1 and 2)?
3.) The Special Provisions discuss Permanent Erosion Control Establishment Work Section 21-3, however, there is no bid line item for this scope of work. Please advise which bid item to include the PEC Establishment and provide duration of establishment.
