Inquiry #1: Charts No. J1 & J2 state, "Only 1 ramp at an interchange may be closed at a time, or as approved by the RE." Does this mean, we can close one on ramp and one off ramp at an interchange? For example, could we close the SB off ramp and the SB loop on ramp for Route 162 at the same time (to work on gore location12)? Similar situation occurs for Gore locations; 3, 12, 16, 19, 26, & 31.

Response #2:
(BI#1)-With approval from RE, Contractor may close an adjacent on and off-ramp to work in the gore area. The bidder's example at SB off-ramp and the SB loop on-ramp for Route 162 is representative of an adjacent on and off-ramp.
