Inquiry #3: On sheet SS-1, there are two wells to be destroyed. One of which is inside a pump house building. Please clarify how the well inside the building is to be destroyed and what repairs need to be performed (e.g. floor slab). Specification 76-6.03 appears to be directed to the well outside of the building.

Inquiry #4: Bid Item 48 PVC Pipe Conduit shows 160 LF, we came up with 120LF of conduit. The 120LF was with all 12 locations. Please advise if 160LF is accurate. Is the PVC Pipe Conduit schedule 40 pipe?

Inquiry #5: Specs say "Install the irrigation controller enclosure cabinet under 87-1.03Q(1)". Is contractor to install a new enclosure for existing controller?

Inquiry #6: Sheet ECL-1 includes a seed mix. Please address the following questions:

1.) Which bid line item shall the seeding scope of work be included under?
2.) What application type shall the seed be installed by - i..e broadcast seed, hydroseed?
3.) Are there any other seed components to include with the seed mix besides Compost?
4.) Does Bid Item No. 28 Plant Establishment include seeding? If so, what are the requirements?

1.) It is under item 50, COMPOST.

2.) Per the erosion control sequence, the compost and seed are applied together. This is standard specification language for this condition:

21-2.03I Compost
Apply compost to a uniform thickness in the locations shown. If compost and seed are applied simultaneously, mix and apply together with equipment suitable for the application...

3.) No, the seed is installed with the compost at application rates shown.

Inquiry #7: Bid Item 27 Maintain existing planted areas is undefined? There is no plan sheets showing what is to be maintained? There are existing trees on site, are solely the trees to be maintained or is the whole rest area to be maintained? Please advise as to what corresponds to maintain existing planted areas.

Inquiry #8: Plan Sheets W-5 through W-8 show a drip irrigation system from the sewage treatment system watering the new sod areas. Irrigation plan sheets IP-1 and IP-2 show the same sod areas being watered with overhead pop-up sprinklers. Is having two irrigation systems intentional?

Inquiry #9: In regards to the irrigation removal plan sheets IR-1 and IR-2. It would be helpful to know what kind of irrigation is to be removed, drip, sprinklers, etc. Are there irrigation as-built plans?

(#9)-The existing irrigation system may include but is not limited to, water supply lines and laterals, an overhead system with rotors, impacts or sprays at lawn and planter areas, flood bubblers at trees, valves, valve boxes and control wire. There are no as builts available that reflect the current system.

Inquiry #10: See inquiry #7. Addendum 3 does not seem to address what Existing Planted Areas are to be Maintained. The last SRRA we bid showed the area on the plans. Plus you show a roadside clearing area, but in the Specials it says ADD to section 20-1.03C(3): which limits clearing to 6 feet beyond the outer limits of groundcover, mulch, or plants. Where the standard specs say "Mowing must extend to the edges of pavement, dikes, curbs, sidewalks, walls, and fences." Which one is it?
