Inquiry #2: Quantity Sheet Q-1 accounts for removing 730 lf of curb and installing 20 cy of A1-6 curb from station TR 508+20 to 515+50. This work does not show on the layout or construction detail drawings. Could you confirm this work is included in the scope of the project and if so could you furnish a plan and details of the work?

Inquiry #5: The response to inquire #2 refers back to pages L-5, L-6, L-7 and L-8. These pages do not show the A-1 6 curb. Could you please show the position in a construction detail as well as the stationing? It seems it will be adjacent to the sidewalk, but the plans do not show any detail.

Inquiry #6: I would like clarification on the scope of the pedestrian detours required. Specially on the work on Tunnel Road on the work shown on L-5 through L-8. While replacing this sidewalk there is no way to detour the pedestrians unless it is done through the street behind some sort of protection like K Rail. I do not see a K rail Item for this job and the difference in cost could be substantial.
Please clearly specify what would be required as the specs open up a possible problem / cost increase / change order.
It is not fair to leave it as a reference to the specs.

Response #2:The contractor can direct the pedestrians on side walk of the NB Rte 13.

Please see the Lane Closure chart K2 in the SSP and also the traffic control in Standard plans.
