Inquiry #7: Please clarify the alignment location for Drainage System 3a,b,c,d,e,f & g and show backfill & paving details. There is no concrete barrier work in this Drainage System, and it appears that trench resurfacing with a concrete slab & HMA may be necessary. This Drainage System is also not protected by temporary K-rail from 134+00 to 140+40 and therefore may require RSC if concrete backfill and concrete slab are required due to the proximity to live traffic.

Response #1:Submitted for consideration.
Response posted 11/22/2022

Response #2:Please refer to sheet DQ-1 for Drainage System 3 alignment and offset. For backfill details please see sheet C-1 in Addendum 3, Section A-A for northbound. For the length and depth of trench excavation refer the current drainage plan sheets, drainage details, drainage profile plans, and drainage quantity plan sheet. Concerning trench resurfacing, please bid per current contract documents. No other information will be provided concerning trench resurfacing.

Inquiry #10: On Sheet C-1, you show Section A-A in an area that is beyond the limits of construction. The detail for Section A-A looks to be a trench 2' wide for new drainage. There is no new drainage southbound, except for a small run of 12" APC. What is the depth of the trench we are excavating and does it run the whole southbound side of the ramp and Highway 13? Does it run the entire length northbound also?
