Inquiry #1: Traffic chart 12 says "provide at least one connector lane open in the direction of travel." There is only one lane off of hwy 68 WB to Hwy 1 SB at work at location 103. This location will require the travel lane to be closed. Will you provide a detour plan to close the lane like there is for the other 3 directions? Please advise.

Response #2:The Hwy 68 WB to Hwy 1 SB connector needs to remain open. Traffic on this connector in the vicinity of work location 103 may be shifted on the inside shoulder to provide additional work area. Bid per current contract documents.

Inquiry #2: On plan sheet 2 of 104 it lists as type of work “DPP infiltration strip” - please provide more information/details.

Inquiry #3: Reference is made to CalTrans Std Plan sheet T11 for traffic control guidelines, what are the restrictions/limitations to setting up various T11 closures in the same direction of travel?

Response #1:Refer to Section 12-4.02C(7)(a) of the Special Provisions. Not more than one 1 stationary closure is allowed in each direction of travel at one time.
