Inquiry #3: Will the utility frame and covers being adjusted by others be lowered below the cold plane depth, prior to cold planning activities? If not, will the contractor be responsible to preserve/replace frame and covers being lowered prior to cold planing?

Inquiry #4: Page 10 of 23, note no. 2, requires damaged loops to be replaced within 36 hours of damage. This time constraint places significant productivity impacts to paving operations. Please consider allowing more time for replacement.

Inquiry #5: Can detailed paving layouts be provided depicting paving edge limits between post mile 14.27-15.7? Current site conditions have varying lengths of improved properties to ultimate width with curb and gutter, then areas which appear to be wide driveways between ultimate width to current pavement edge, making it hard to determine edge of pavement limits which require replacement under this contract.

Inquiry #6: Typical cross sections show surface grade of open grade level with top of gutter lip. Certain areas adjacent to curb and gutter already appear to have minimum cross slopes allowing water to escape. Is this the designers intent to trap water from flowing out from the open grade pavement layer at certain locations?
